What is shadow and bone wylan?

Shadow and Bone is a novel written by Leigh Bardugo that has been recently adapted into a popular Netflix series. The show follows Alina Starkov, a mapmaker in the fictional world of Ravka, as she discovers she has the power to summon light and become the key to saving her country from the Shadow Fold, a swath of darkness that divides Ravka in two.

Wylan is a character from Bardugo's later work, Six of Crows, but he does not appear in Shadow and Bone. He is a member of the Dregs, a gang of criminals in the city of Ketterdam, and is known for his expert knowledge of explosives. Although he is initially portrayed as shy and quiet, he proves himself to be a valuable member of the group and develops a close relationship with Jesper, another member of the Dregs. While Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows are set in the same universe, they take place in different parts of the world and follow different groups of characters.
